This mid century black and white vase is another item purchased by my parents while they lived in Hawaii in the late seventies. Based on their memory, it was made in Japan.
This black metal serving tray or decorative plate was a classic souvenir of travels in the fifties and sixties. The tray is black with dark, matte gold illustrations of the Alaska map, a totem pole, polar bear, radio tower and walrus.
