Vintage Cedar Chest Miniature Souvenir for Girl’s Treasures Makeup and Vanity Storage
Vintage storage boxes like this one were popular souvenirs you would have found at attractions and parks back in the day. They were often stamped with a location, although this one is not. The box lid is decorated with the words "Girl’s Treasures" in black, with ideas of what you could store in it in each of the four corners, also in black: "Barrettes n’ Bows", "Bracelets n’ Rings", "Lipsticks n’ Combs" and "Pins n’ Things". It includes a lock, although we aren’t certain it’s original to the box. The box has a cool shape, like a trapezoid, with the base slightly smaller than the top. It’s most likely made of cedar, as a smaller version of a cedar chest.

Condition: Very Good Vintage Condition. Some crackling to clear coat - most notably on top. There is a small space between the bottom and side portions of the box on the back left corner - looks like it’s spreading from age. The wood in this area is not loose and does not appear to coming off. Includes a lock and keys, I am unsure if it is original. The lock is marked “Made In China” on one side, “Goolddoor” on the other.
