Vintage Brass and Enamel Bell with Hammer Asian or Indian Inspired

Vintage Brass and Enamel Bell with Hammer Asian or Indian Inspired

This beautiful brass bell and hammer was purchased by my grandfather when we lived in Hawaii in the late seventies. The bell is unmarked, so I do not know where it was made, but the etching and enamel suggest Asian or Indian origin. I believe the loop that attaches the bell to the stand may be a replacement, since it does not show the same pattern of wear as the rest of the piece. The bell does not have a clapper, instead you hit it with the included hammer. There are two loops on the right side of the stand to store the hammer.

Condition: Very Good Vintage Condition. Minor wear consistent with age.

Dimensions:
bell and stand: 9 in high x 6.5 in wide x 2.5 in long

Item Weight: 14 ounce
