Vintage Silver Plated Butter Spreader Knife Monogrammed Cheese Knife with B Monogram
This silver plated monogrammed butter spreader or cheese knife was purchased by my grandfather when he went to England and Scotland in the late seventies. The knife has an uppercase B monogrammed at the top of the handle. I have not been able to pinpoint the pattern. It is similar to their “Southern Charm” pattern of silverware - that was the closest match we have found in researching this piece.
I have chosen not to clean or polish these items. I love the beauty of the aged finish and patina and will leave it up to the buyer to clean and polish.
Shipped in an acid free archival bag.
Markings: on backside of handle “Alvin Patent”
