Antique Silver Plate and Glass Jam Jar with Silver Spoon
This antique jam jar or salt cellar features a cut glass jar with a glass handle and an attached silver plated slotted lid that is hinged at the rim. The silver spoon was made by Roberts & Belk in 1912 and may not be original to the jar although that is how it has been paired since it was purchased by my grandfather when he went to England and Scotland in the late seventies. The cut glass of the jar has 3 star designs with bursts that resemble palm fronds between.
I have chosen not to clean or polish these items. I love the beauty of the aged finish and patina and will leave it up to the buyer to clean and polish.
Spoon will be shipped in an acid free archival bag.
