This is a silver plate condiment was set made in Birmingham, England by Sanders & Blackband. The set includes a pepper shaker, salt cellar with cobalt blue glass inset and a lidded mustard jar, also with a cobalt blue glass insert. Both the salt cellar and mustard jar include their own matching spoons. Each piece features a scalloped edge and claw feet. Both the lid to the shaker and mustard jar feature a tall finial. Sanders & Blackband started making fine silver plate in the thirties. I believe this set is from the 30s or 40s. It was purchased by my grandfather in England in the late seventies,
I have chosen not to clean or polish these items. I love the beauty of the aged finish and patina and will leave it up to the buyer to clean and polish.
