Vintage Magic Kingdom Parking Pass 1982 Walt Disney World Parking Receipt Ticket
This is a vintage parking permit from Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom date January 30, 1982. The front of the blue ticket with black printing features the old Walt Disney World logo on top with a graphic of The Contemporary Resort, Cinderella’s Castle and a sailboat on the lower half. Parking in 1982 was $1.00, at least 15 times less than you would pay to park now. The reverse side has a map of the lot, labeled with the charachter sections.
I found a cache of old Disney papers and pamphlets when helping my parents move recently. Unfortunately, the Florida heat and humidity is not kind to paper and plastics and many were virtually destroyed. Some were in good enough shape that I didn’t want to toss them, but not that great.
