Vintage Walt Disney World Tencennial Ticket Stub 1982 Used WDW Ticket Rare

Vintage Walt Disney World Tencennial Ticket Stub 1982 Used WDW Ticket Rare

This is a used Walt Disney World ticket stub. It is dated January 30, 1982. The white paper ticket features the WDW Tencennial logo with a bubbly “10” with a castle in the center of the 0. This ticket was for a specially priced Florida resident special, valid January 1 through 31, 1982. Due to the short period of time and limited availability, this is a rare and hard to find ticket. The specially priced ticket to The Magic Kingdom was just $10. You pay more than that to park at the Transportation and Ticket Center nowadays. Since this ticket is from the time prior to Epcot opening, individual ride tickets were still in use by some guests. Because of this, guests would often pin tickets to the shirts of children or tape them around their wrists - my mom’s preferred way to make sure we didn’t  lose our tickets. There’s a worn hole at the top of this ticket stub.

I found a cache of old Disney papers and pamphlets when helping my parents move recently. Unfortunately, the Florida heat and humidity is not kind to paper and plastics and many were virtually destroyed. Some were in good enough shape that I didn’t want to toss them, but not that great. Be sure to closely inspect all photos using the zoom option and read our detailed description of the condition below.
