I was a huge fan of Strawberry Shortcake as a kid and my mom was a huge fan of buying gifts super early and hanging on to them till the birthday or holiday came around. When downsizing my parents home last year, we came across this new, never used Strawberry Shortcake coloring book from 1981.
This wonderful book from the 1960s features dozens of short stories, fairy tales and poems for young children. The stars of the book are the beautiful color illustrations on almost every page.
This vintage Scorpio sign from the 1970s is wood with a gold Scorpio decal showing the dates October 23 - November 22. The wooden plaque image of a scorpion with the Scorpio symbol and a cheerful sun was hand painted in bright, psychedelic shades of orange, yellow, blue and lilac.
We had several Hallmark cookie cutters in our home when I was a child and one of my favorites, a Christmas tree, is included in this set of 4. The red and green cookie cutters are made of plastic and still attached to the original display card in unused, like new condition.
An adorable porcelain Mickey Mouse figurine made in Sri Lanka. Mickey wears a blue and red “M” baseball cap, red “#1” baseball jersey, blue pants and red and white shoes.
The vintage set of smaller casserole dishes made by Pyrex in the seventies. The exterior of the dishes are bright orange and deep red-orange with a cream colored wheat design.
This is a wonderful rare find for magic collectors or novice magicians. The box includes over 30 props to perform various magic tricks (Illusions!) from the 1920s to 1970s as well as a 39 page book edited by magic historian Leo Behnke.
This was one of my favorite toys when I was a young child. The Fisher Price Record Player from 1971 includes just one record, a lilac colored on with Jack and Jill on one side and Humpty Dumpty on the reverse.
