Vintage 1985 Walt Disney World Shopping Bag
This is a smaller shopping bag from the Walt Disney World Resort. This plastic bag features a bold graphic in shades of purple, pink and orange. Both sides have the same graphic of Spaceship Earth at Epcot, Cinderella’s Castle and The Mark Twain Steamboat from the Magic Kingdom, the monorail and Mickey Mouse surrounded by flowers and fireworks. The old Walt Disney World logo is in an oval below Mickey. The words “Together at Disney” and “The World’s Greatest Resort” are on the lower half of the bag.
I found a cache of old Disney papers and pamphlets when helping my parents move recently. Unfortunately, the Florida heat and humidity is not kind to paper and plastics and many were virtually destroyed. Some were in good enough shape that I didn’t want to toss them, but not that great.
