Vintage Federal Glass Mugs Green and Blue Stacking Coffee Cups - 2 Pieces

Vintage Federal Glass Mugs Green and Blue Stacking Coffee Cups - 2 Pieces

Here’s a great set of two stacking mugs made by Federal Glass. The cups are milk glass. One has a bright blue exterior finish, the other is a bold green. The colors suggest the mugs are from the late sixties or early seventies, although this style of mugs were made as early as the thirties. The mugs have a tapered base which allows for easy stacking in your kitchen cabinets. Brighten up your morning routine by sipping coffee from one of these colorful mugs.

Manufacturer: Federal Glass

Markings: on bottom, “Heat Proof (Federal Glass Logo USA”
The green mug is embossed on the bottom with a “1”, the blue mug is embossed with “27”.

Condition: Very Good Vintage Condition. No chips, cracks or signs of repair. Mugs show minor wear to colored finish consistent with age. The blue mug has an area near the bottom where the finish looks as though it is peeling off, although it’s firmly attached to the cup. This looks to be a manufacturing defect.
