This beautiful postcard book showcases scenes from the iconic French Landmark Le Mont St. Michel in Normandy. The color lithograph postcard book was published in the 1920s by Levy Et Neurdein. The cream colored cover is decorated with the words “Le Mont St. Michel” in an ornate Old English script in red and black. The bound and perforated cards feature various scenes in and around the coastal island. The lithograph cards feature bold and bright colors that border on unrealistic. Each card has the title and photographer initials printed on the front. The reverse side is printed with a small “Mont St. Michel France” logo. Above the logo are the words “Correspondance”(on the left) and “Adressee” (on the right). There is a line of text reading “Levy Et Neurdein Reunis, 44, Rue Letellier, Paris, Imp.” dividing the unlined cards in half, allowing the correspondence and address areas to be separated from one another.

Condition: Very Good Vintage Condition. Some discoloration on front and back cover. One postcard has been removed, all others are firmly attached. 19 cards are included. Some cards show slight wear around the edges. On 6 cards, the ink from the back of the previous card has rubbed to the front of the next, creating areas where the circle logo reading “Mont-Saint-Michel-France” may be barely visible.
