Vintage Hand Carved Wood Trivet Made in India Octagonal with Leaf Carving
This hand carved wood trivet was made in India and was purchased in the seventies. The octagon shaped trivet has a hand carved vine a leaf design surrounding a brass flower inlay. There are three ball feet that measure about 3/4 inch tall. Protect your counters in style with this wooden carved trivet, or use it as a decor piece in your bohemian decorated room.
Markings: on back, “I.W.O.I. INDIA”
Condition: Vintage Condition. Wear consistent with use. There is an area where the carving is rough (lower left on front) that looks like it is due to inconsistency in the piece of wood it was carved from.
