Vintage Magic Kingdom Show Schedule from 1988 Walt Disney World Map and Show Times Pamphlet
This is a vintage Magic Kingdom show schedule guide for June 19-25, 1988. The theme of the WDW Resort that year was “Star Spangled Salute to America”, which is printed in purple above a patriotically designed Cinderella’s Castle. The old Walt Disney World logo is across the top, with the slogan “So Much More Than Before” on the bottom half of the front page. Inside is a map of the Magic Kingdom showing the parade route as well as details on Disney’s celebration of the 200th anniversary of the US Constitution. Open the pamphlet to its full size to see details and times for the shows throughout the park. On the back page are times for the parades, including the iconic “Main Street Electrical Parade” and “Fantasy in the Sky Fireworks”
I found a cache of old Disney papers and pamphlets when helping my parents move recently. Unfortunately, the Florida heat and humidity is not kind to paper and plastics and many were virtually destroyed. Some were in good enough shape that I didn’t want to toss them, but not that great.
