Historic Walt Disney World Eyes and Ears Cast Member Newspaper WDW Closed for Hurricane Floyd
This is a vintage copy of the Walt Disney World Cast Member Newsletter “Eyes & Ears” from September 1999 when Hurricane Floyd forced Disney to close their Florida parks for the first time in history. This large, black and white, 12 page newspaper is unbound and printed on thick matte paper and perfect for framing.
The front cover features an article on the historic closong including a timeline and images of the empty parks. The interior pages include additional stories about how the hurricane affected the resort and cast members. Other interior pages include general cast member specific information, clubs, classes and short articles including the opening of Tatooine Traders at Disney-MGM Studios. The back 3 pages includes job listings, advertisements, and classifieds (rents starting at $590 a month!).
Shipped in an acid free archival bag and stayflat envelope.
