Small Cat Tin by The Tin Box Company and Daher
This cute little yellow tin box features an image on the lid of a fluffy orange, yellow, and white cat holding a pink flower in it’s mouth. The box is perfect for holding jewelry, trinkets or odds and ends.
Mark: Embossed on bottom: 'The Tin Box Company Designed by Daher, Long Island City, N.Y.11101 Container Made in England'.
Condition: Good Vintage Condition. Minor dent on lid to the left of Kitty’s head. Wear to paint around the rolled edge of the lid. A few minor scratches to yellow paint on box, the longest being .13 in (3.3 mm). There is also one half circle shaped area of the box where the yellow paint is lighter. I am not able to tell if this is a wear issue or a manufacturing defect. One minor dent along bottom edge of box near that discolored area.
